Straight up aggro, get in there as quick as you can, don't let up the pressure. [[Blink]], [[Grapple Shot]] and [[Whirling Blades]] to get your [[Battlemage]] in their faces or deliver the death blow. The latter two spells also help accelerate your damage in the midgame as they can be used in addition to attacking on a turn.

You have direct damage finishers in [[Chain Lightning]] (your Battlemage should be able to get nearby!) and [[Lightning Bolt]] if attacking to deal the death blow isn't possible.

The artifacts are designed to deal with different threats / enemy gameplans - [[Flaming Sword]] for chump blockers and villagers, and [[Screaming Skull]] for spread out little minions. [[Rolling Boulder]] helps soften up larger minions or get the killing blow across the board, or kill pesky [[Daperyll Vampire]]s.

[[Torshammar Trinket]] can also help your [[Battlemage]] take on larger enemies, and it's even got some inbuilt resistance to being removed from the board, which can be a concern for your other artifacts.

If you want to try more high-end you can put in [[Grandmaster Wizard]], [[Highland Clansmen]] and/or [[Ultimate Horror]], but you might find you don't want them because you can't play sites and attack with your [[Battlemage]] on the same turn!
