NOW UPDATED FOR AL AND 50/30 (finally ... )

The Waveshaper brings water to the metagame in a big way! All of a sudden, we can play [[Anui Undine]] and [[Pirate Ship]] and reliably attack using our Avatar ability, but we also get a sweet bonus of tapping down enemies!

This deck is designed to get to 5 or 6 sites and then use the Waveshaper ability most turns to tap down relevant enemies, flood sites tactically, and clear / create the path for your powerful minions.

There's harder removal in the form of [[Drown]] and [[Atlantean Fate]], the [[Riptide]] combos with [[Troll Bridge]] to take out enemy minions.

The [[Plague of Frogs]], [[Adept Illusionist]], [[Tadpole Pool]] combine with [[Pnakotic Manuscript]] for some more card advantage.

There's power, trickery and synergy in this deck to reward the tactical pilot and counter lots of popular decks in the metagame.

Lots of little things all add up to give you flexibility. [[Coy Nixie]] can reposition enemies onto your Troll Bridges and into other dangerous locations. [[Giant Shark]] and [[Riptide]] gives you more removal options or ways to chew up an enemy avatar for big damage, [[Ruler of Thul]] gives you some sneaky ways to finish the game or get minions in interesting positions, and [[Maelstrom]] works so well with Waveshaper, pulling enemy minions into a single location for you to tap them down.

The air spells allow for some additional tactical flexibility and help finish off the game once you get the opponent to Death's Door.

[[Blink]] lets you move your submerged minions (e.g. Anui) from defensive to offensive positions in the subsurface so you can launch an attack.
