Strategy

Our goal is to send as many of our own creatures to the yard in an effort to power up our Avatar.

Deck Overview

Minion Overview - WIP

Minions like [[Vile Imp]], [[Cauldron Crones]] have genesis abilities that we can use, and allows us to turn our creatures into card draw. Additionally, we can use cards like [[Seasoned Sellsword]] and [[Aramos Mercenaries]] to discard our minions to the yard. Our [[Cerberus in Chains]] can protect our Avatar; we need this against aggressive decks/Avatars like [[Battlemage]]. [[Death Dealer]] and [[Infernal Legion]] can be used to target both our own Minions and our opponent's, as well as provide an excellent blocker or way to deal with evasive creatures. Two copies of [[Grandmaster Wizard]] have been added to refill our hand when we run out of Minions, and [[Ancient Dragon]] has been added to the top end, either as a Minion on the battlefield, or as discard fodder.

Magic - WIP

[[Immolation]], [[Blaze]], and [[Minor Explosion]] allow us to both deal single target damage and kill our own Minions when necessary. These cards also allow us to both fill our yard. [[Pact with the Devil]] will allow us to dig for the cards we need, critical to the deck.

[[Grapple Shot]] allows us to use our Minions more effectively, especially our [[Sacred Scarabs]], [[Grim Reaper]], and [[Infernal Legion]].

[[Grapple Shot]] and [[Blink]] also allows us to move our Avatar around the board to gain line of sight on our opponent's Avatar to deal our damage.

[[Poison Nova]] has been added as a way of keeping enemy Minions away from our own Avatar. This card will also allow us to kill our own Minions.

Added one [Infiltrate], this will give us ways to deal with hi powered creatures.

Artifacts - WIP

Mixes are for threshold/mana support, [[Philosopher's Stone]] will allow us to play our big Minions for cheap, and our smaller Minions for free.

Sites - WIP

[[Observatory]] is an excellent way to rearrange spells on the top of your deck, to find the Minions or strategy line you need to empower [[Flamecaller]]. The Tower sites provide extra mana, in addition to an Air threshold.

Deserts can be used to deal both lethal (because of the Drums of Doom) damage to an opponent's Minions, or to your own.

[[Crossroads]] is an excellent way of selecting the site you need next.

[[The Geistwood]] allows us to utilize our Minion's genesis abilities again when they die, which provides us the most value.

[[Mirror Realm]] should be self explanatory. A [[Boneyard]] can allow us to bring back a recently discarded minion, and a [[Free City]] is protection from larger enemies.
