Yo, so this list has been incredibly good in terms of results going a total of 43(61 as of 2024/01/09) wins, 7(19) losses and 1 draw(?) where we were both on deaths door and both died to a craterize. (Several hundrwd more games have been played, please refer to the bottom of this primer)

The deck's worst match up by far is avatar of earth which just aggro's you out of the game and kills you quicker than you can resource lock them, with an avatar that is big enough to fight over your bodies.

The deck has only a single loss(3 now) into death speaker so far, it becomes very easy to lock their resources before they have the djinn combo kill, and sometimes you can just avoid it entirely by sitting on a gnome hollows and deleting all the surrounding sites with lord of the voids.

As a general rule,. Vampire is in vs decks you suspect or know don't run scarabs. Blink is in vs matchups where they are happy to draw lands to block you or in matchups where they have few burn spells and blink offers ways to run from direct damage sources. Gnome Hollows is in vs avatars with greater than 3 power and against decks that look to combo kill you with a minion with 3 or more power. Disenchant is in vs decks that utilize artifacts or enchantments to gain an advantage. currently, this is only 2(usually) decks battle mage and enchantress, but the card is such a good tempo piece against enemy cores I like to bring it into decks that run 3+ colors as well because you can bet your ass they are running at least 3 cores and a p stone. Root Spider is in vs aggro, the card stalls the middle of the board stupidly well and effectively becomes a pillar you can kite around with your avatar. Nightmare is a tech piece and is overall an insanely underrated card that I believe is underutilized. It's a killspell, a huge body, and a utility piece all in one that you can usually play around turn 4 or 5. I play this card in matchups where I'm cutting 1 or more of the other larger bodies for color consistency, or into a match-up where I think the game will go long and I will need more threats to fight over the board state.

One last idea I have been toying with is replacing the 2 frontier settlers with a second mix aer and a nightmare in the maindeck. many of our most unfair plays involve air cards so a second mix could be a way to decide games super early. playing a lord of the void, a nightmare or a masterwizard 3 or 4 turns ahead of schedule is pretty disgusting. It also free's up your early game threshhold requirements which is far and away the biggest issue this deck faces. The longer I type the more I'm convincing myself this is a change that should be tested further.

Update as of jan 11th:

The mix aer addition is great. Going up to 2 is fantastic. It replaced the monolith fully and lets you get off your late game plays early without the massive life commitment that would often times kill you into hyper aggro matchups. As it turns out - not vile imping your avatar every turn helps the aggro match up. Who would have thought.

Update - Jan 30th 2024:

I have now played close to 500 games with this deck and am happy with its current form. I'm sitting at 316 wins, 182 losses and a single draw giving me a 57.2% win/loss ratio. Over this many games i think i'm happy with that. I do not count my games playing against "non-optimized" decks. These are decks in which there are obvious upgrades that could improve them, but are omited for one reason or another -- usually price or scarcity. This deck has a nasty tendency to "pub-stomp" in the sense that it very quickly locks down the board if not quickly interupted with a timely dispel or bury for example. And recongnizing that this deck will overwhelm you if not interacted with early, is something that experienced players will realize, while newer players will take game after game to eventually pick up on. For this reason i also did not include games against newer players in my win to loss ratio. I wanted those numbers to be as realistic to a tournament setting as possible to provide the realest access to testing, and after many many games this is the final build i am happy with. I am now patiently waiting for aurthurian legends and all the potential new goodies it may promise.
