Introduction + Acknowledgments

This deck is based on the original and AL edits to Fury Road from @ScourgeAlters.

I've been intrigued by Fury Road ever since @abarth, a fellow Beast of the Bay, showed up to a meetup with a copy of it. I kept modifying some parts of it to better fit my play style (adding Sinkholes, removing things like Gigantism) and played it at Quest for the Crown to a top 4 finish, losing only to the aforementioned @abarth, who won that event.

This is my take on the deck. It is definitely suboptimal, and I will likely continue to change it, but wanted to capture the tournament version of it for posterity. I'll post a full tournament report online soon.

YetiCon 3.0 (2024) Tournament Result

With just under 32 players, we played 5 rounds of Swiss. I eventually made the finals against none other than @ScourgeAlters himself, and had to play against his Druid's Deep deck. You can read more in his primer about the incorrect play there that led to a broken board state, at which point, I truly just wanted to concede (which I offered). We decided to finish playing it out and split the prizes, rather than just immediately scooping things up. After many long turns (that deck has defense like nothing else), I dealt the killing blow, but conceded the round, as I did not want to be a champion because of an invalid game action.
