5th place (3-1) at Sin City Open (1/16/26) - 20 players

Been playing Pathfinder since Alpha, and have updated this deck each year as new expansion sets have become available.

There's an even split between minions and magic at the moment, but could cut a Disenchant and Bury to add more dudes since Toolbox gives us access to those cards in the collection.

Movement is critical, so I typically mulligan all three spells in my opening hand if I don't see a Blink, Whirling Blades, Common Sense or Toolbox.

Speaking of which, I typically use Common Sense in the early game to fetch Blink and Grapple Shot, in the mid game to grab Bury or Dispel, and in the late game to grab a Highland Clansmen or Lightning Bolt for a kill shot.

The Princess gives me access to the Ring, Stone, and Amulet if I haven't seen one of the three already. The Globe has been an all-star, allowing me to escape situations, build up big mana and just generally disrupt people's plans. Haven't cast the Flame enough to say whether it's good or great, but it's seems like the later. (UPDATE: Flame is good, on occasion).

Toolbox feels like a game changer, allowing me to fetch ordinaries that are situationally appropriate. It allows me to play a second or third copy of a card, namely Dispel and Bury, without taking up space in the deck. It also prevents me from drawing an otherwise situationally effective card when I don't necessarily need it.

Digging Team is there to keep my dudes alive when I drop an Earthquake. Spiders to slow my opponents down. Vampires to heal me back towards 20. Pudgey Boi for a show of force. Hounds because they've got their dancing shoes on. Grandmaster Wizards for card draw (le duh!). Grim Reaper to clear out pesky shit. Highland Clansmen for the FREEEDOM! Mover of Mountains to rearrange my empty sites in a more favorable fashion. Galahad for the Gothic meta, and Perceval because he was foil-y.

Sites are tough in Pathfinder, but the new dual threshold ones in Gothic definitely help. The Sanctuary has been an all-star, providing Ward when I need it most. Still unsure of the Vampire House - seems good in the late game, but meeting sitting on it early, in the back row, is kind of a bummer. Wuthering Heights is basically free movement, but again, depends on where it lands. As they say, 'sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes the bar eats you.'

I could say more, but this is a work in progress, and likely will be, indefinitely.

The Cabal of Pathfinder is small and mostly made up of fire slinging fools, but I shall stay the course and continue to Craterize my friends as long as possible 🤘🏾
