Deck is meant to play well into [[Druid]]. The idea for this tournament was to win the first 2-3 games and get paired up against multiple [[Druid]] at the top tables.

Why no Earth? Earth was cut in order to play cards that are good specifically against [[Druid]]. Sites such as [[Arid Desert]], [[Red Desert]], and [[Remote Desert]] are very strong against [[Druid]]'s Tawny. Powerful three threshold Air spells [[Browse]] and [[Arcane Barrage]] are very good but unable to be played in a three color deck. Same rationale for the inclusion of [[Merlin's Tower]], [[Wizard's Den]], and more Towers [[Dark Tower]], [[Gothic Tower]], and [[Lone Tower]]. Although you lose [[Land Surveyor]], [[Earthquake]], and [[Common Sense]], cards like [[Clamor of Harpies]], 3x [[Poison Nova]], as well as [[The Black Plague]], and [[The Great Famine]] allow you to slow the game down even if your opponent is playing Water. This list was ultimately experimental and it did surprisingly well without any playtesting.

Win conditions: [[Nimbus Jinn]] combo or repeated big magic spells ([[Major Explosion]] and [[Arcane Barrage]])
