This is a midrange deck that uses defensive sites and 4+ power minions to slowly take control of the realm. It plays defensively early with Root Spiders and Pudge to lock down sites that the opponent can attack, and ramps to 5+ power minions to finish the game.

Site placement is very important for this deck. Pebbled Paths, Varmint Warrens, Gnome Hollows, River of Flame, etc, all significantly change how/where the opponent will position their minions. Forge and Bedrock provide some protection against Atlantean Fate and flooding, and it is often ok to create a lance underground for a Root Spider to equip. Varmint Warrens are especially good, as your beasts cannot be attacked or targeted there. Philosopher's Stone and Shrine of the Dragonlord enables 6 and 7 mana whilst not adding more vulnerable sites to the board.

This deck runs 37 minions, and 17 of them are beasts/dragons, which make Firebreathing a great removal tool, in addition to the standard Bury, Earthquake, and Infiltrate. Direct damage via Vile Imps, Dragonettes, Ring of Morrigan, and a single Wildfire let's us clear out a path for our attacks or wake up Slumbering Giantess. Boneyard also shines with lots of great targets to reanimate, while Pillar of Zeiros and Funeral Pyre can make the effect stronger in our favor. Royal Bodyguard is the MVP when it comes to surviving on DD.

Lastly, the deck runs 16 fire sites and 16 earth sites, so manage them carefully. AoF represents Fireball with any fire site in hand, and can clear blockers, activate Ignis Rex's ability, and finish the game off of DD. You only need 3 fire and 2 earth to cast all your spells.
