STRATEGY: This deck is aggro steam w/a splash of air; with some mid-range capabilities. Your aim is to strike fast and hard and hammer their avatar as soon as possible!

OPENING HAND: What you are really looking for in your opening hand is a good mix of threshold (including 1 air pip) and you really would love to see a Jihad/Summoning Sphere which is going to allow you to drop minions right on your oppo's face!

SITE PLACEMENT/STRATEGY: The most important aim you should have with sites is getting your threshold right. This deck wants to move fast and it has no time for wasted turns bc of threshold deficiencies. Look for dual/tri sites in your opening hand. Placement is going to depend on whether you get your early game jihad/sphere and also if you see early back row attackers. If for whatever reason you don't see either of these fixers, you will play lands in a typical straightforward aggro fashion. Your goal is to get up in their business as fast as possible.

THREE STRIKES THEY'RE OUT: Everything in this deck is designed to help you strike their avatar; and either have them bleed out on the floor in front of you or gift you with many valuable cards. With almost half of your minions having charge, and plenty of other minions that allow you additional strikes; you should have no problem landing attacks quickly and forcing your oppo's hand. You also have 37 minutes, so even if you get board wiped, you should be able to continue your strategy relatively quickly within a turn or two.

STRIKE BONUSES:

Plague of Frogs: Drop 7 frogs on their avatar and next turn they can either give you 7 cards or take 21 damage. Remember, 0 power strikes are still strikes!

Quarrelsome Kobolds: These guys do work. They can attack as normal, but they also get to strike at the end of the turn. Gotta find a way to get these guys right on top of their avatar quickly.

Sir Agravaine: If you can keep this guy on the board for 2-3 turns he is going to make your opponent hurt .... real bad. Just make sure he's in range to take advantage of all those additional strikes!

Lord of Lies and a Summoning Sphere is just cruel and unusual. Just drop him on their avatar with the Sphere and let him wack away at their avatar doing 6+3(or a card) dmg per turn!

Kobolds move attack + grapple shot + end of turn trigger attack .... yowza. Or just Grapple Shot any old minion for a ton of fun for everyone to experience!

Lilith / Aino / Wild Fanatic/ Sphere of Animosity: These are my Gothic Steam MVP's. And I was really thinking ... man, I really hope they finally find a way to make steam decks STRONG w/Gothic!

Just remember; you and Interrogator are the STRIKE Master! No kid is going to be able to heckle you off of your STRIKING ways; and if they do just throw the old "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, I AM!" line at them right after you door them on T4. Enjoy!
