"Can I ward lethal beasts and give them lances? ...Should I?"

Was a backburner idea, but drew a lot of inspiration from @rhysplayscards' Sarah Squirm deck after seeing it. Became a budget experiment / "we have squirm at home" version of theirs, with a slightly different angle (add lances for first strike, all minions can be warded, add Flaming Sword for lethal splash damage.)

2/9 - first couple games played, probably needs more minions and draw. should cut some magics & artifacts.

Similar idea to Squirm - Trade their big scary creatures for an onslaught of cheap lethal minions. Try to get double (maybe triple?) value by warding/lancing/stealth-ing your little guys, repeat. Grow a Squirming Mass nearby in some protected site until it's time to go for bigger damage.
Trying to go without Silver Bullets & Ring of Morg, etc. - They would absolutely be helpful if you've got the budget. Most of these are cards I pulled instead of purchased. I also haven't been utilizing the Collection yet; the ways to access it feel too narrow and repetitive to me so far. But, it would be a better performing deck with the staples & more uniques. At which point I'd follow rhys' list.
Collection=Potential adds, not actual "collection" - Need to up damage to keep it from being just a grind. Boudicca could help with closing out. Avenging Angel: ward, charge strike, ward again on the same turn it came in?
Untapping for value - Debated Belfry for opening minions back up on defense. Liked that Manticore can untap, Valkyries will help there too.

Flavor Silliness: Former-Catholic Guilt. St. Francis of Assisi - Patron Saint of animals. The meat gets its revenge.

Sir Priamus would be the guardian saint in this, Spearmarshal a devotee of the faith. Savior is Beast Messiah, with some help from angels.
