Key Animist features are that she never lacks a body to play [[Grapple Shot]] and [[Whirling Blades]] on and that she can use [[Evil Presence]] to charge out all of them. Additionally, if a somewhat conditional card like [[Kiss of Death]] or [[Desecrate]] are not feeling useful during a match, they can be minions instead.

[[Witching Hour]] pairs well with token spam from [[Raise Militia]] and [[Undead Ambush]] and all your spirits and undead. Likewise with [[Kiss of Death]] and [[Desecrate]].

[[Murder of Crows]] can be played as a spirit and recast later from the cemetery.

[[Daperyll Vampire]] and [[Renatus Trueblood]] are must-answer beaters and bodies for our combat magics.
