NWA Natural State Sorcerers Cube

The cube contains 408 cards and is designed to support an 8-person draft. Each deck must have a minimum of 24 Spells and 12 Atlas.

There are 24 packs, with each pack containing 17 cards. Each pack contains:

4 Sites

1 Unique Site
1 Dual Site [or] Double Threshold Site
1 Elite Site [or] 1 Exceptional Site
1 Ordinary Site (primarily the Bloom cycle to support threshold fixing)

13 Spells

2 Unique Spells
3 Elite Spells
3 Exceptional Spells
5 Ordinary Spells

The power-level of this cube is intended to be stronger than a typical limited experience...thus the extra access to Elites and Uniques.

While most of the deck is built as a singleton, there are some cards with multiple copies. This is done to ensure appropriate threshold (ie: Dual Sites, Bloom cycle) or to provide more iconic/relevant Ordinaries. This is especially for the purpose of removal (ie: [[Dispel]], [[Disenchant]], [[Bury]], [[Drown]], etc) and also just for fun...I love [[Vile Imp]] and [[Bosk Troll]] and can't have just 1!

Each element is distributed in identical proportions within each pack slot.

By having 96 total sites drafted, each player could theoretically have 12 sites. However, for this draft unlimited access to Basic sites ([[Spire]], [[Valley]], [[Wasteland]], [[Stream]]) will be provided.

Avatar Selection:

24 Avatars will be considered for play. Prior to the draft, each player will be randomly dealt 3 avatars. The player will select 1 of them to be their desired Avatar. Avatars that are not dealt are not considered for play. After Avatars are selected, the draft will begin. The available avatars are as follows:

Duplicator (not suited for having a deck entirely built of uniques)
Imposter (no desire to have spare copies of all avatars)
Sorcerer (excluded for now...I want to see other avatars selected for more diverse gameplay)
Alpha Avatars (excluding for now, but I may add these in the future)
