This is a control deck using [[Battlemage]]'s ability to double up on strike spells and to win through accruing more resources than your opponents.

The basic loop of the deck is to have low number of sites in the early game and trading cheap control spells one-to-one while using the avatar to fight and to refill. Then around the mid game once the opponent starts running out of tempo, the deck can stabilise using some submerge based wipes (and Ball lightning). In the late game it is best to try and cast some of the big bombs [[Vatn Draconis]] and [[Great Old One]].

The whole game plan is supported by cheap air mobility spells to make sure that the avatar (or, to a lesser degree, other units) won't have to waste any of its moves having to relocate as the deck is reliant on it either be attacking or ramping.

This is the first deck I've built here, so any help is welcome in fleshing out the strategy a bit more.
