Main Gameplan :

Have [[Bedrock]] or warded Sites ( [[Pilgrim's Shrine]] or [[Blessed Village]] )

Or Have warded minions in play ( [[Order of the White Wing]], [[Paladins of Bazia]], [[Malakhim]] etc.)

[[Roots of Yggdrasil]] gets destroyed by [[Sinkhole]]

Everything gets destroyed, doesn't matter if its burrowed, submerged or in the void. Things that might survive : [[Bedrock]] or warded Sites // Warded Minions

Now you either have a Minion without ward in play OR 2 - 3 Sites left. Since you did NOT lose your Mana you can still cast spells, but you need the necessary Threshold.

Win by beating down your opponent down.

This is the reason you play the deck. We got more tools to interact with sites in Gothic, but its still hard to interact with these Sites or destroy the combo Plan.

These Survive the Roots of Yggdrasil Effect and have cases where they are good on their own. [[Pilgrim's Shrine]] might be the best of the 3.

Helps finding Roots and Sinkhole.

3 [[Fertile Earth]]

(E) (E) is quite handy when you play a minimum of 5 Lands that provide on threshold, which you never want to scry away and always want to play.

The numbers on these are up to you. While i think Kettletop and Landmass should almost always be full 4 the rest is up to debate.
Frontier Settler is best when played early and survives the turn, but too slow later on.
Land Surveyor will always dig you 1 deeper in search for our combo Sites. And Tithe does the digging job the best!

These uniques are busted not much to take about.
[[Order of the White Wing]] and [[Paladins of Bazia]] are premium rate (3) for 3 power and (4) for 4 Power with upsides.
[[Malakhim]] and [[Holy Warrior]] are cards that are up to if you want to play them. (2) for 2 power is nice in limited, not so much in constructed.
(6) for 4 Power Airborne ward can be playable.

Good earth cards are good.

Mulligans:

Mull all 3 Sites (80% of the time)

Mulligan every site that isn't Sinkhole or Roots. Crossroads is kept aswell since it helps finding it. Most of the time you will put back 2 or 3 sites on the bottom of the Atlas.

If the Mana of your starting spells are too high, you have to adjust the 'mull all 3 site strategy'. Use common sense.

Earlygame: (Turn 1 - 3 )

Desclaimer: I am coming from a MTG Background, so i use the word 'Scry' for the Seer Ability, which i think describes it the best.

(If you go 2nd scry site) Scry site, draw site, scry site, draw spell. Is a typical starting sequence. If you are not used to playing Seer remember to scry Spells when you know what is on top of your Atlas but you want to draw a spell, and Vice versa of course. Best example: you used a [[Crossroads]], found Yggdrasil and put it on top, Next turn you don't need to scry the Atlas so you scry your Spellbook, and then you got the most optimal information on what to draw.

Spellwise go for value, make sure you have time to scry alot. Play defensive, if possible. Play aggressive if you have a nice curve. But don't waste your spells since we might want to draw sites early.

Midgame: (Turn 4 - 6 )

In this state we might have 1 piece of the puzzle on the Board already, preferable on the backrow. Beware of [[Field of Phyxis]] and [[Smokestack of Gnak]]. If your sure these cards aren't played by your Opponent you can have Sinkhole on the front row.

Anyway if we have [[Roots of Yggdrasil]] or [[Sinkhole]] in play, and the board allows us to dig deeper we go scry site and even might want to draw a site. Most cases its scry site, draw spell.

If you are ahead on board, you might want to scry spells to push your advantage even further.

I think this is the hardest part of the deck, you are in the Midgame and now you need to know which deck to scry and draw from.

Lategame: ( Turn 7+ )

This is potentially the easiest part. Combo is close to be assembled or just waiting to be deployed ( Roots or Sinkhole in play and the other part in your hand. Play a ward minion or wait for a roots nuke and play a minion afterwards with your survived sites. The most Important thing to keep in mind is: you need to have a follow-up play. Because worst case scenario you root everything and its 0 sites vs 0 sites. Which will be fine for you aswell, but setting up a Position where you can put immense Pressure on your opponent will lead to much more easy wins after resolving a Roots Nuke.

In the case of 0 Sites on both sites and no follow up play, you need to curve out and take advantage of you seer ability, Scry spellbook and draw random sites, so you can go minion into minion into minion/removal.
