Easy Squeakings!

[[Rat King]] Requires you to stuff your deck with rats. None of them are particularly useful (sadly) and so we need to find a couple of ways to squeeze value from them.

In terms of damage we have [[Panpipes of Pnom]], [[Torch and Pitchfork]] and [[House Arn Bannerman]] that all provide an extra damage for your rats. Note that [[Panpipes of Pnom]] do not stack with the other effects and as such are a place to look for more consistent (and cheap) power-buffs in future sets.

The other way to extract value from your rats is by using the 3 card draw X combo in [[Assorted Animals]], [[Hamlet]] and [[Sylvan Splendor]]. You should have at least 5 (1) cost beasts in your spellbook at any time, meaning if you have a [[Sylvan Splendor]] touching a [[Hamlet]] you can search your spellbook for 5-6 (1) cost ordinary beasts with [[Assorted Animals]] and then play those animals to the [[Hamlet]] for free, drawing 5-6 cards.

[[Squeakers]] are a bit of a trap. You are never actually going to find any [[Pigs of the Sounder]] with their deathrite trigger. You need to mentally prepare yourself for this and never get discouraged by that fact, because then you get to abuse it. Your opponents are unlikely to have much experience with this card and probably haven't done the math. So if you treat your little pigs like the extra minion is a guarantee, some opponents will trick themselves into taking damage or making bad trades. Even if your opponent wises up to this, they're still on rate for power so it's not the end of the world. [[The Inquisition]] is also added to this deck to increase the hit rate of the pigs. Do be aware that [[Rat King]] sadly does not reveal cards for you to play [[The Inquisition]].

You could probably cut Fire for a more consistent mana-base but [[Peasant Revolt]] is often going to be back-breaking for many meta-decks, and while we do use some uniques and elites, the deck doesn't rely on them much.
