Overall Theme: Movement of sea and stone

The fun of the Sisyphean Hydrometric is taking away your opponent's movement. This is meant to be a deck of displacement. The gravity of sea and stone. If you enjoy the frantic scramble of an opponent who is constantly reacting to your design ... until there is a boulder rolling inevitably over them

Lure with succubi, anglers and nixies. Steal, return, snatch and drown with changelings and Nelly. Pirate off their cards with the captain. Ignore borders of areas with polar explorers, Aino, maiden voyages, and the ruler of Thul. Strong kitties and tuff turtles to soak up hits. Mesmerism, call of the sea, and hydras to finish the day. Air provides some additional movement of spell and minion. And the rolling boulder is the finality of the loop.

With stone and sea you want to scrub the kitchen table clean of all resistance. To play against this deck is to learn the Pelagic Absurd: that no matter how hard you struggle to maintain your position, the volume of the sea and the recursion of the lithic will eventually displace or remove you.

Just remember ... anyone can tap and roll the boulder. Try and keep it away from nme units

02.19.26: Has not been tested yet. I expect there to be many changes

02.21.26: Lost its first match, just barely to a relic adorned Battlemage. Won its second handily. Really need to lean into forced movements. throws opponents off their game as they are constantly wondering where I am going to move them, rather than how they move against me. Not one rolling boulder *shrug

02.24.26: In a 3 way where I was flanked by the other two ... combination of being the easy target, not shifting my mental space from 1v1 to 3-way, being the threat that forced their movement and getting a Seirawan Hydra out proved my to be my doom. This deck held up very well against the two opponents (one using a stealth deck and the other one using a fire deck) - and took them both under half health. Questing Beast was in my hand another Hydra was right behind it ... so it was loss, but mostly happy with how it went. Guile Sirens interesting but not great and pulling them. Wish I could have more Nelly Longarms

02.28.26: 1-1 tonite. Could have, have been 2-0 but I missed a Coy Nixie move to open up an avenue to nme avatar who was at door. Still showed me a lot of things I need ... or rather, were not that useful to me... also in examination afterwards i was missing cards so need some redos
