The idea for the deck came from seeing what the two best Avatars (arguably) in the current format do:

[[Necromancer]]: Play every turn with the benefit of always being able to curve out with a [[Skeleton]] for extra value
[[Pathfinder]]: Ability to draw a spell every turn while putting a site into play for "free"

Earth has always been my favorite element and [[Geomancer]] has always been a deck I fall back on when I am not doing [[Deathspeaker]] shenanigans. One day it hit me, if I am going to play Earth why not ol' reliable [[Geomancer]]? If I can go even with [[Pathfinder]] on sites, while being able to have less site variance, why not? Your Atlas and the sites you play in it are the foundation of any deck and I have greater control over it unlike [[Pathfinder]]. Then I thought about [[Necromancer]] and how it is able to build an army of skeleton tokens without costing them cards in hand. Just steady playing a skeleton a turn. Generally speaking, it feels bad when you are forced to use spells to kill something that did not cost your opponent a spell to make. [[Skeleton]]s are good but they have limitations. I started thinking about cards like [[Guards!]] and [[Border Militia]] and how these cards could potentially match this [[Skeleton]] army while producing [[Foot Soldiers]] that are objectively better. I needed more tokens and much sooner. That's when it hit me: [[Common Village]] and how there are 16 of them. I could go site for site with [[Pathfinder]], produce a token every turn like [[Necromancer]], all while playing my beloved element Earth. Time to cook.

Deck Philosophy:

Dominate the early to mid game via token creation and utilizing your mana efficiently every turn
Get to 6 mana consistently while drawing a spell every turn
Craterize and/or win via sustained minion pressure from multiple small and big bodies
