"Evil, Fliers and Ranged, OH MY!"

The TLDR:

Evil:

Vile Imp, Redmayne Hyena, Spore Spouts and Desecrate. Do the math.
You know who loves Desecrated Ground? Evil minions. What's better than a 5 power Legion of Gall? A 6 power Legion of Gall.

Fliers:

We've got 14 fliers and over half of them are 4+ power and either gain us life, wreck our opponent's Collection, or just cause a friggin headache!

Ranged:

A playset of Stygian Archers and Skirmishers of Mu? Yes. And I'd play more if I could!

Ideal Early Game Plays:

omg why does this guy love Desecrate so much...

Desecrate:

Think back at games you lost because of a well placed Smokestacks, Thin Ice, Troll Bridge, Bottomless Pit, Perilous Bridge, etc... yea. Desecrate handles that.
Buff your minions. Forsaken seems innocent until it hits for 3, Desecrates for 3, and then becomes a 4 power minion. "We have Lugbog Cat at home, sweetie".
Timing is everything, though. If you can't Move and Attack with your Evil minion without risking a trade then you're not set up for a Desecrate. But we're piloting AoA baby, oh and we have even more tech for that... stay tuned for the full primer!

Other Spells:

Arcane Barrage beats Ward as long as you can pay the minions power + 1. It wreaks havoc on tokens, is nightmare fuel against Imposter and can close out nearly any game thanks to AoA's inherent maneuverability.
Browse to hunt for Desecrate... (i know, i have a problem)
Disenchant. Because Ring and A. Fate exist.
Feast for Crows. F**k Mesmerism. (Both games I've lost to CJ at major events he beat me with Mesmerism... well, and because he's a top-notch player)
Grapple Shot and Whirling Blades. I don't need to explain these - but - imagine your opponent plays their Archangel and you've got a Stygian Archers in play with a Trinket and Grapple Shot in hand. You Trinket your Archers, Grapple the Archangel to break ward and Ranged strike for 4 while getting an Allied Skelly to boot. It feels, so, good. Now imagine casting Whirling Blades on your Archers and killing more than one enemy minion to then replace each of them with Allied Skellys? Disgusting. Wait, Skellys are Evil right? Did someone say Desecrate?
Infiltrate and Poison Nova: unarguably two of the most impactful Fire spells at the single-Fire threshold level. These two spells are what forced me into splashing fire. Trust me, I hate having to run the castles, Colour and Ruins in place of other Air or utility sites, but I truly believe Infiltrate and Poison Nova are worth it.
