If paying 4 mana for a 4 Power Unit with Ward is so good, why not get as many of them in your deck as possible?

Here are 12 ways to get a 4P+W minion with Savior:

3 Autumn Unicorn

3 Lugbog Cat

2 Gargantula (on Pond)

2 Sacred Stag

2 Paladins of Bazier

If you play the 10 Beasts above with Pond it's like you get the Ward for free.

The Villages are your main tool to survive early aggro. Putting wards on your foot soldiers is just a great way to buy time before you get out your 4 Power Units.

Aside from that, there are the usual Coy Nixie + Thin Ice shenanigans. Lord of lies is always good. Mester Stood Worm is a beast so you can get it down on turn 5 to zone out some of the board.

Other than that, there are lots of 'tricky' units that will present problems for your opponent to deal with. Having wards on these units just makes them harder to deal with:

Lady Isuelt

Sister Stefania

Pied Piper

Ruler of Thuul

Green Knight

The removal package is broad and flexible.

Holy Nova is surprisingly good because it only hits enemies.

With all of the warded soldiers and townsfolk, a well timed snowball can push 2 or 3 units onto your opponents avatar for some sudden burst.

Earthquake and call of the sea are your big swing plays to clear the board.

The biggest challenge can be dealing the death blow.

Silver bullets should be held onto for this purpose.
