Goal: Control our opponent’s board to prevent losing too much tempo early, gain a foothold by either creating positional weaknesses for our opponent or gathering artifacts, then capitalize with the Battlemage to snowball into and with key equipment.

Mono-color because consistency is key. If they bear a Screaming Skull, a plus-power item, and Plate of the Whale, the game is basically over.

Methodology:

Use minions and magic to bring enemies closer so they can eat them and draw.
Use minions and magic to disable enemies to reduce the damage taken via trading.
Equip whatever items you can to the Battlemage.
Once you’ve drained your opponent of resources or accrued sufficient gear, kill them!

Notes: sub out a card in deck for a Ring of Morrigan and a card in the collection for Torshammar Trinket for pings and healing on Battlemage, if you have a Ring of Morrigan.
