This deck is for the Peasant / Poorcery format (which only allows ordinary + exceptionals)

The idea of the deck is to run most of the good 3 drops in the format and have 10 ways to deploy one of them already a turn ahead on turn 2 (and to follow up with another one).

Elementalist additionally helps with thresholds to be able to play them on turn2.

Torshammer Trinket, Gift of the Wolf, Grapple Shot and Shield Maidens make sure to stay ahead on the board and trade favorably. Shield Maidens are also protection against Poison Nova, which is the most potent mass removal in peasant / Poorcery.

4 Troubled Town is another Elementalist tech that lets you deploy a 2 power minion on turn 1. You can follow it up for example by a Pond + Beast on Turn 2 and another 3 drop on turn 3 for some very aggressive openings.
