Bolognese Control

I'm new to Sorcery, but I'm a long-time MTG player. This is one of the first decks that I've really put some thought and time into. I've tried to be as minimal as possible when net decking to capture some of the old-time deck-building feeling I had way back in the day. I pulled an Imposter in my first booster box of Gothic and fell in love. I really wanted to brew around Saint of Redemption and Rhitta Gawr. Then I wanted to layer some ponza and stack elements on top. However, aggro is VERY good. I got steamrolled by a few good aggro players playing Imposter. If you're looking for the strongest Imposter deck, I highly suggest looking at this Furious Imposter deck here. Naturally, I didn't want to go into full aggro for two reasons. 1. I wanted to be a hipster and not play probably the best deck, and 2. The nuances of aggro strategies, especially in mirror matches, hurt my brain. If you know, you know.

Notable Exclusions

Some cards are missing that would obviously fit perfectly. I just haven't pulled the trigger on buying them. Here is a list of the cards and what I would sub out for them.

Balor of the Evil Eye - Infernal Legion / Asmodeus
Archangel Michael - Infernal Legion / Asmodeus / Inquisition ? Queen of Midland
Ring of Morrigan - Sow / Salt the Earth / Asmodeus / Inquisition
Mount Ussar - Any one of the "Village" lands
Fields of Camlann - Any "Desert"

Purposely Excluded

Kettletop & Land Surveyor: These cards are great. However, in this deck, the true card advantage is in the Pathfinder. My goal is not to tap to play or draw a site from turn 3 to 6. That kinda limits the card advantage they provide. I would rather play something that helps control the board. I put three Vile Imps to help pop wards and hit Kobolds along with other cheap threats, and two Mordric Druids, which I talk about later.
Kobolds: Again, sweet card! But not where we want to be?
Sister Stefania: We're on our back foot a lot and playing in our own territory, and I don't want sissy turning off my spiders, wards, or pingers. Probably a skill issue on my part.
Mover of Mountains: This is a good card in the hands of a skilled player. Alas, I am not that. I am not smart enough or good enough to use this card effectively. HOWEVER, if you think you are, you should 100% play with it. Probably one of the highest skill ceiling cards in the game.

Why Some Cards

Mordric druids: This has been pretty good as an early game minions vs. aggro because they either ignore it and lose a good amount of life or target it immediately and buy you a turn or two.
Order of the White Wing: This card is good. Ward is good. Can also shut down some important cards and Necromancer if it's close. The downside is that it can also do the same exact thing to you. It cuts off your foot soldiers (comes up more than you would think) and Deathspeaker, depending on position.
The Inquisition! Cool card that can banish anything in the hand, including sites. Double up with Deathspeaker. Not hugely important, but fun. With upside
Vivien the Enchantress: Gas! This card has been straight fire every time I play it. It's the biggest threat when it gets played. You can double up Witch drains, double Sorcerer draws, or you can just tap and draw or play a site. Great card.
King of the Realm: I can't decide on this or the Returned King. I'm running this because I've been playing against a lot of persecutors, and I don't want to give them easy evil targets to use for free movement with cards like Shallow Grave and Blvd of Bones.
White Hart: I may be so off with this take, but this card demands an answer and slows down the game by 1 or two turns.
Assorted Animals: Allows us to find some good control pieces, like some spiders or a white hart.
Craterize: Sick card! Is it good? Probably not. It feels good when I play it and takes out a land in the process. 8 mana is a lot, but our goal is to sit back and push to the late game, then just outvalue the op. This seems to do that job.
Peasant Revolt: Dope card. Especially against Water! We only run sites that get hit, so this can take out some lands and crucial game pieces while we can plan for it.

Pet Cards

Year of the Blaze: This is a pet card and sow the earth to the same extent. They feel sooo good when they work. Late game drop this: a blow-up 4 lands on your opponent's side. That's basically the game. However, when this is in your hand on turn 2 (because it should always be mulligined), it hurts. Feels like the worst card in your deck by a mile. A good deck builder would tell you to cut it. You should. But that's why I wanted to build this deck.
Asmodeus: How f*king cool is this card?? Sadly, the best it's ever been for me is "okay." Play it at your own risk. There are so many better cards to fill this spot, but damn if it isn't a fun card.

Summary
