How to make the most of the Collection Manager

Overview

The Curiosa Collection Tracker allows you to digitally track your cards all in one place. You'll be able to highlight cards you're missing when looking at decks and tie your collection to your deckbuilding. The Collection Tracker tool is in active development and will continue to grow and evolve, taking digital card tracking to the next level.

With the plethora of smooth bulk add and editing options, you'll have your collection up to date in no time. From there, you'll be able to use the same Sorcery card filtering system that the community knows and loves to analyze your Collection. You can supercharge your deckbuilding experience by easily seeing which cards you do and don't have while browsing decks or building your own, and even limiting the card pool you can build decks from to only cards within your collection.

Get Started

Head to your Collection page to get started. Once you’re in, you'll see an empty collection. If you only have 1 or 2 cards to add, you can use the Quick Add search tool to find and add them. You'll notice when you're searching that, unlike when building decks in Curiosa, card results are split out into their various printings - Alpha, Alpha Foil, Beta, Beta Foil, etc.

As you add your cards, you'll notice that those cards are grouped for you in your collection, and as you click into them you can drill down into the specific printing. As you enter cards like this, they will default to “Near Mint” condition (NM). Click on them anytime to edit the condition, make notes on a specific item, or simply remove the card from your collection.

Browse Your Collection

As your collection grows, you'll be able to use the search and filtering tools to analyze and explore your collection, see which foils you have, etc. You can press the “Expand All” option above the search filters to toggle all card and print groupings open by default and press the “Allow Quick Edit” option to open up the quick edit options where you can quick-delete individual items or entire groupings, quick-add more copies, or even bulk-add using the little lightning bolt icon.

If your Collection you're entering is very small, or you're just making small edits, this will be where the bulk of your time is spent in the tool. However, if you're looking to fill out a sizable collection, by far the best way to do this will be to go into Edit Mode using the giant button in the header. If you've built decks in Curiosa before, you'll recognize this system. From here you can see your collection (on Desktop) alongside the full card library.

Fill Out & Edit Your Collection

Use the familiar search and filtering options to narrow down your search and take it step by step. Similar to the previous view, cards here are grouped by default, and you'll need to click into them to expand the various printings. To add cards to your collection, you can either click the little plus icon underneath the printing or click the image to see more info and bulk add options.

Similar to the previous functionality, you can press the “Expand All” option above the search filters to expand the groupings in the Collection sidebar (on Desktop) by default or click "Allow Quick Edit" option there to see the quick add, remove, and bulk add options against the items in your Collection.

A pro tip to keep in mind is that whenever you apply a search or filter, an extra option will emerge above the search filters for bulk adding, identifiable by the little lightning bolt icon. Clicking on this icon will prompt a confirmation screen before seamlessly incorporating all your search results into your collection at once. On the confirmation screen, you can adjust the quantities you wish to add for each card.

With these tools at your disposal, you can efficiently expand your collection and effortlessly integrate it with decks you're considering building, instantly highlighting any missing cards. Simply click the "Enable Collection Tracking" option located above any decklist while you're logged into your account. You can also use the "Limit Search" option next to it to narrow any of your card library searches down to only those cards that you own in your Collection.

How Can I See What I'm Missing?

From the Collection edit screen, when you browse the card library (whether you have applied filters or are simply viewing the entire card pool) you'll notice that the collapsed card groupings glow purple when you own some but not all of that cards' printings that match your given search, and glow orange when you own them all. Expanding the group own into the individual printings will show exactly which ones you own with the familiar purple glow.

You'll be able to use this effect to quickly see which cards you're missing from your Collection for a given set, search, or the entire card pool.

What About Preconstructed Decks?

We provide Official lists for of our Preconstructed Decks over on the precons page. From here, choose the product you want to add to your collection, and you'll see a little "Add to Collection" option in the header. Clicking that will add the entire decklist directly to your Collection.
