Introduction

The Alpha Pre-Constructed Air Deck is an excellent way to learn the value of mobility and card draw in game. You'll be commanding an assortment of highly mobile and airborne minions who will need to be opportunistic in combat for you to win. In your favor will be wizards who can draw you more spells to maintain card advantage over the less well learned elements. Your spells build on minion mobility or for surgical damage, your deck is probably the best finisher of all the Alpha pre-constructed decks. Your challenge will be in getting the enemy to deaths door in the first place.

Tactics

Your path to victory is going to be in being opportunistic, both in picking favorable fights and in using your mobile minions to go over and around your opponents minions where a direct fight won't go your way. Start nibbling away at your opponents life total and try to save a lightning bolt or chain lightning to finish them off the next turn. If you get the chance drop the Roaming Monster deep behind the enemy line to disrupt their plan. The spells from the Wizards can also fuel some big damage from the Nimbus Jinn. Use your towers carefully, make the most of the bonus mana for each of the first tower sites to hit the board.

Match ups

Vs Earth - This is going to be a tough match up for you. Earth minions are just bigger and tougher, where they may struggle is in damaging your Avatar on Deaths Door. Don't try to engage head on, wait for the trades in your favor, just keep chipping away at their life total in the meantime. A Devil's Egg or Doomsday device carried to their backline will be hard for them to remove.

Vs Fire - This is a tactical match up for sure, you'll do well with your highly mobile minions taking out weaker minions, but beware of your grouped minions providing an irresistible target for their area of effect damage spells.

Vs Water - Do not let this game run long or it will not go well for you. Water minions tend to be tougher in their element, and that is where you need your minions to be early on. Take advantage of their need to expand their body of water and try to split your minions. They can't be in all places at once. Don't be afraid to use the voidwalking and stealth minions to hit their back lines. You'll need all the life loss you can inflict.
