Legend tells of a kingdom, in the far off reaches of the realm, home to a group of elite warriors fiercely devoted to their king.

Throughout time these Mortals continued to pledge loyalty to The Kings lineage expanding his reach, his wealth and his army. As The King's sons, and their sons continued to expand and grow more and more powerful, legends came about of a great mage being born to their people. This led to a golden age for the kingdom. A time of great expansion and ruling lead by the King's line and their advisory mage. Their power continued to grow, warriors continuing to attack to their dying breath, and one who could wipeout entire legions with his gaze.

Until one day, they practically vanished back to their home.

This was followed by an immediate dark age for the kingdom. Throughout this time, little trade or even battle occurred. The people living off of their land and the army reduced to a small village guard.

In more recent times, The Azuridge Caravan were allowed to open trade with the people. A few traders spread stories of a people seeming disconnected or speaking as if on a script. Their eyes were sunken and empty. But would light up when speaking of the newly appointed ruler, some even calling him the reincarnation of The King.

Word has also spread of a recent attack by a group of Sea Raiders who were thwarted by the kingdom where their defenses rivaled the tales of old. This King and a familiar looking Advisor were said to have appeared causing brother turned against brother in an enraged and powerful state and for any slain enemy to arise as if they'd never been killed. Those that survived seemed entranced and murmured a single word: Necropolis.

What would happen if the kingdom decided to begin their crusade anew?

Enjoy this Mortals/Undead themed deck. I may recreate this as a triple element and add in some air. For now a Earth/Fire combo with a focus on Bone Rabble, Scourge Zombies, and Awakened Mummies is what I've gone with.

The goal is to reanimate with either the death speaker or to utilize the zombies, boost up any Mortals you have with the king, and expand the kingdom no matter who stands in your way.

Some of this is based on what cards I have available, and will mark down updates here. Current plan is to add in some seasoned sellsword and aramos mercenaries to get Bone Rabble and Scourge Zombies into the graveyard.
